For my capstone project with The Vita Coco Foundation, I worked with a team of final-semester Master's students to evaluate and enhance the coconut seedling distribution program. Our focus was on improving scalability, assessing costs, logistics, and monitoring frameworks, and identifying new funding opportunities aligned with Vita Coco’s sustainability strategy.

Net Impact Consultant- RePlaste
As a Consultant through Columbia’s Net Impact chapter with RePlaste, I developed a roadmap for their transition to a circular business model. Our team outlined financial benefits, communication strategies, and GHG reduction opportunities while aligning operations with CSRD and B Corp sustainability standards. We also established key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sustainability outcomes, ensuring long-term business resilience.

Life Cycle Assessment: Mycelium vs. Leather
This white paper examines the environmental impact of using mycelium-based materials as a sustainable alternative to traditional leather in Coach’s Relay Bag. The life cycle assessment (LCA) analyzes carbon footprint, water usage, and material end-of-life to compare the sustainability benefits of mycelium versus conventional leather. The findings were submitted to Coach leadership for review.

Our team conducted a materiality assessment, led stakeholder interviews, and established a structured framework for tracking environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. This report lays the foundation for future sustainability disclosures and strategic decision-making.
